- About Me:
- Fortunate has extensive experience that spans over 20 years working at policy, management and program level. Her specific focus has been on equitable agricultural value chains, inclusive financing, Gender main streaming, Children and Youth development. she has supported implementation of gender main streaming approaches for public and private organizations such as Hanns Neumann Stiftung (HRNS), UGACOF and IBERO coffee company. At HRNS she championed the Gender Household Approach that has proved to be a powerful tool in addressing gender related imbalances such as domestic violence, child abuse and successfully improving household social economic needs. Fortunate has conducted research on gender relation in coffee value chain, Gender based violence and executed gender audits for organizations and corporations. Fortunate holds a master’s degree in human rights, a Second-Class Upper Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts, Diploma in Education and certificates in gender, human rights and project management.

Post your experience: You can share your experiences with local responses through putting up a blog. To post a blog, first sign in, then go to top of the page and click on the blue button ‘Our Stories’ and click on ‘+ Add ’. You can also comment on blogs posted by other members.
Requests: This the place where we learn together. If you want to discuss issues related to local responses, please contribute to the forum. To participate in an ongoing discussion, sign in, go to the top of the page, click on the blue button ‘Requests’ and then click on topic of the discussion you are interested in. In the Request you have an option to start a discussion on a topic of your interest.
