CARE India EMPHASIS team- Knowledge Fair on migrants
CARE India's EMPHASIS team organised a Knowledge Fair from 11th to 13th May 2011 on mobile population. The event was attended by around 40 participants. India competence team members also participated in the event. Members from the Russian Team also joined us in the KF.

This Knowledge Fair was different from all the others that I have experienced. Early days of a CLCP practice within structures that are project deliverable led with mobile populations who do not yet consider themselves a community. Extremely challenging situation! Yet, within five months several inspiring stories of change kept coming out. Hats off to the CARE India Emphasis team who created that space to look at this approach despite their own doubts as to whether they had the luxury of this within their tight deliverable timelines. Rafique's conviction was what stood out, and his CLCP approach in believing in his team as a community! This is a group to watch out for : there will be many achievements!
