"L pour Liberté d'être soi-même" - "L for Liberty to be ourself"

(English version)

"I was not sure to come to this meeting! I was not sure of the relevance of this group and now... I want this group to be created. I want to know you more and to continue our path together" say Caroline an introverted women from the pilot group of the co-housing (FitMyNest) project of Nivelle (Belgium).

Is the summary of the end of an afternoon of facilitation. 6 members of the pilot group of this co-housing to be, have met this sunday 18 November to start together a collective journey of a way to live together in an other way. Where ideas of dialogue, doing together, village and harmony can be embodied through the miror effect of meeting the other and then become real.

I came back home after this afternoon peacefull and nourish from their kindness and peace state of mind.

Anita talked about the "maturity" of the group, because of their naturel and very balanced way to take this path.

This group inspired me this article, because I discover an other meaning of the L in SALT through their reflexions and I wanted to share that with you!

It was not the first time for me to share about SALT through stimulating a collective reflexion about the meaning of the letters by the observation of the posture of the facilitator of a session, but it was the first time that I heard "L for Liberty to be ourself".

With these words, Caroline remind us that beyond the authentic dialogue with other (without unsaid), SALT allow us to be free to be ourself and to be appreciated and welcomed for that.

Facilitating this session today, I decided to add a step in the CLCP process, as I presented it. This step is the one of "Who I'am? and Why am I here?"

Inspired by the Global Learning Festival of 2018, it seems more and more clear that putting the individu at the heart of the mouvement of the community, is the first step toward an individual ownership of the issue that will create a shared leadership and that will insure the sustainability of the engagement of the community around it's vision/dream.

Indeed, L for liberty to be ourself, is part of SALT. But, now let see how to propose a process that stimulate more and more this, in order to insure the sustainability of the engagement and mouvement of the members of a community.
