Vision

“In Guyana, communities, organizations and institutions recognize their potential and build on their strengths; establish and sustain partnerships; learn from each other, by sharing and transferring knowledge and skills, to achieve and sustain the best possible health, wellbeing and quality of life of all citizens; whoever they are, and wherever they are.”

MISSION:

1. Through a local, Guyanese, team of well trained and experienced coaches and facilitators, promote “Community Life Competence.”

2. Effectuate change, by empowering minds, revealing strengths, and supporting communities to reach their potential.

3. Facilitate communities to build on their own, intrinsic strengths, achieve community ownership, fostering partnership at the local level, to jointly address challenges.

4.  Work with all communities (geographical, social, institutional, and economical) locally, regionally and internationally to attain community and life competence.

Dear Ruben, Autry, Gaston, Usa, and Michael,

I am also joining the Guyana Competence Team, cause I hope to transfer whatever is relevant from Guyana. Maybe I may have something to share too. Also hoping that you will join the T&T team when it is set up in the near future.

With best regards,

Rafique

Join the group Community Action day group

Dear Friends,

Constellation is proposing Community Action Day on any date around December when facilitators can encourage the community to meet, discuss their strengths and hope,s do their self assessment and upload action plans and event photographs. Join the group to check out the tool kit, ask questions, share your self-assessment and action plans and connect with other communities around the world who participate in the event.

Dear friends,

Guess everyone has been busy these past few weeks so there's been no comments or discussion here. Maybe you've been busy organizing yourselves and planning with the 5 SALT teams, to go through Blended Learning together? Could you update the progress here so we can all get inspired by you? Please note that Gaston and I are still waiting anxiously for the action plans of the 5 groups so we can work out how to accompany you and support you on this journey.

I'm attaching the list of participants complete with the photos, to remind you of the great time we had together, and of the exciting journey that is awaiting us!

Please take care, everyone.

Warm regards from very warm and smoggy Chiangmai! I certainly miss you and Georgetown's gentle breezes!
