 Learning\nThe conference is designed for practitioners in the public, 
 corporate, community and academic sectors working toward social and en
 vironmental justice in these demanding times. It will engage deeply wi
 th theories of practice in participatory research, to support emergent
  practice within the field.There are not one but two 2 day events, on 
 the shores of Werrewaa at the Quaker retreat centre Silver Wattle, ju
 st north of Canberra. The Conference Call invites you to register yo
 ur interest, with ....\n\na case study — that opens up the choices
  you face as a practitioner; or,\na critical learning incident — a
  stinging moment which stopped you in your tracks and that stays with 
 you for its illuminating powers.\n\nThen join our Yammer network with 
 others interested in the conference. We have passed through our first 
 deadline for contributions, and we now have 7 or so case studies for e
 ach theme which our Research Design Team will now develop as a scenari
 o to work with on the second day of each event (see the methodology).
 Please still develop and bring your case study or critical learning in
 cident in the conference, and contribute it to the online discussion w
 hich is available to those who have registered for the conference. Th
 is is a small conference - we have space for 40 participants only for
