Yes have been in SG for 3 months now - its a very exciting place to be when you are young and want to meet different people from the four corners of the world.
There are also numerous activitists in their own ways who want to get involved into community support but very often dont know how to get started or where to seek information - on the surface SG is a very prosperous city state, however like anywhere in the world under the surface one can notice that people could do with some help.
How have you become involved with this wonderful movement?
I'd be happy to meet with your brother if he is in town as well. feel free to share my email with him: lucaturconi@gmail.com
A warm welcome to peace competence group, my dear friend. I am happy to see you here.I like your photo very much.
In France we are starting an initiative with nurses on application of Community life competence. Also we have applied our approach with people with disabilities in Guyana and Mozambique. In India, Fr Joe has applied this approach with parents of disabled children. I asked him why parents and he replied that parents find it harder to cope with the situation. Would you like to share from your experience the strengths you saw in children you worked with and any story where they took action to address their issue. Merci!
And in response to your question, you don't have to be a member of an organisation to be in this community. Here we connect as human beings to share and learn from each other.
