Judith;

I appreciate your courage and strong willing to move forward despite the odds. Life is a continuous fight and only the strong in faith, the determined and the focused will survive. Many out there are also going through tough times sometimes even tougher than what you are experiencing. Look around and you will notice that your situation is manageable.

I apply SALT in my daily life; at my home, workplace and community and its been yielding a lot of fruits. In addition to applying SALT also give God first place in your life and He will take you places.

The last 18 months, I lived away from my family, my friends and my husband for professional reasons. My colleagues wonder how can I make it so long without my husband and in a very uncertain environment. The answer to this question is very simple and easy; I just told them that I live SALT. In short, I apply the SALT principles in my life, and I opted to see what is positive in what I do. The only strength and source of my motivation is to accompany the communities to develop their competences in relation to the survival of mother and child. In addition, I have learned a lot in the different communities that I have had the opportunity to accompany; These communities have strengths, enthusiasm, love to learn new things, sense of organization and autonomy. The greatest SALT principle that allowed me to give the best of myself is learning from experience. I was able to learn local languages and customs, and adapt the process of implementing community-based approaches according to the model that was developed by the communities. Beyond the isolation, the time and the energy that I consent for this work, I am and I always remain smiling and motivated to accompany communities. Judith DIALUNDUA

JL
