dear rituu,
taking one step at a time , looking at my resolution 2009.
This morning i got up and said '24 brand new hours' are in front of me to act, think and enjoy life's beauty.
Thanks, Rituu - for the welcome and the encouraging word. Good to connect with you this way. I'm sure we'll be hearing quite a bit from each other now. Cape Town is a gorgeous city - one of the most beautiful in the world, I think - when were you here?
Dear Rituu,
Your comment was very encouraging and I want to thank you for that. I will try to share more with you all (I simply adore nice comments, ha, ha).
Best
Your sincerity is just disarming. I left active AIDS field work years ago.
You and Rafique somehow kept me glued to this African AIDS experience and inspired me to share this with other stake holders. Many thanks
for your latest gesture in leading me to join this forum. Hope, I someday
visit UNAIDS.
there's been several write ups about our local organization down here in the visayas, you can just google butterfly brigade or aklan aids council. and sure fire on id be happy to answer some of your questions.
I work in the area of gender and sexuality too so it would be interesting to talk on such matters. till then

Thanks for all the encouragement. I will be meeting Swami, Chitra, Anand and Selva on the 5th of this month. I will surely convey your wishes to them. Swami and Chitra are working on the Youth project in Kanyakumari district and Selva works on it in Theni district and Anand works in Thiruvannamalai district along with Robin . All of them have been using SALT as their approach. I had a brief discussion with all of them it was encouraging. Since, I am busy with grant writing could not give more time to this. I had a chance to go to Nagercoil last month. What I had attempted to do along with Swami is that, I have taken my project plan and the set of activities involved in it and built them a round the ACP approach. ACP is not an activity it is an approach and it is a way of thinking and working I have added that element to this plan. The set of activities are focussed on community ownership, response and phasing out plan ( as it has always been our Philosophy) so it was easy for me to build it in.
I am planning an interaction with the team on 6th I will get back to you with some interesting sharing.
I saw Marlous mail to Indu. She is attending the conference at DAKAR, where ACP is also in the agenda. I am really thrilled because she is interested in ACP and this sharing and learning will really add a lot of value to our efforts. I was delighted to see my name and the work we do in the list of HIVOs partners in ACP. Rituu I want to introduce Swami, Chitra, Anand and Selva ( you have not met these two) who are also working using the ACP concepts. I want to have some activities and sharing within the organisation then I want to introduce them to the Constellation. It is good to see Chitra reflecting and cociously aseessing her approaches and Swami attempting to integrate the ACP into his daily activities on the field. Selva is currently working on deepening his understaing on SALT.
Hi Rituu, must admit that my daughter Lois who was with me in an other wise empty office (Lawan in Japan, Laurence and Gaston in Cambodia) today did my background upon my request - yep, I like the colors too as they are a bit similar to www.aidscompetence.org. Take care, Marlou
