My work day did not begin standing in a circle with familiar friendly faces sharing "what the weather is like inside" as has been the ritual of the last few days. But apart from the circle and the friendly faces...I found myself going through this process as I sat in my Office.

What a great way to start your day! Identifying your "weather" helps you to acclimatise your mind for the day ahead, it also helps you to consciously change your weather conditions if you so desire.

Though the weather identified in me was hot and sunny (and my colleagues would tell you that this is not a good thing for me as I am a rain loving person); having stopped to identify it removes the internal barrier those challenges represent, now I can focus on the external barriers.

Hello Ashanta, I am Myrna from the Philippines. You gave me a very good idea on how to deal with stress and other problems. I have been feeling sour and have forgotten how to be SALTy! for quite some time now and have wanted to break free from it. I'll try your strategy, maybe it will work. Oh,by the way, I love rain too. I especially love the sound of rain hitting my umbrella. A friend once told me, that most people love the idea of sunshine, but there is such a thing as "dancing in the rain". Have a good day.

Thanks Ashanta!

Reading your blog this early morning, it already changed my weather conditions, and I start the day with a smile!

Hi Ashanta, my weather is already getting more sunnier when reading your blog. It was rather cold and stormy (as the weather outside here in Belgium) and I love hot weather and sunshine! Thanks for brighten up my day :-)

Thank you for your post, Ashanta. It is a reminder to all of us that we should always connect with ourselves before we connect with others :-)
