Dear Friends,

Greetings to you all from Nigeria.

As part of my Job as the newly appointed ANTI-AIDS club president is to design the activity plan of the club which I have done. The club has been in existence for the past 15yrs and as faced so many financial issues. The least of the support given to the club has always been condoms and I.E.C material and the student need more than this material support. The club has been running on individual contribution

Here are the concerns in the school;

  • Prostitution: Majority of the female student engaged themselves in prostitution, been ignorance of their actions. Men come into the school to pick them every weekend and this increase their risky behavior.
  •  Drug Abuse: About 43% of the students are drug users and it is always a group thing. This set of student share the syringe and its exposes them
  • Sexual Abuse: About 20% of the students were abused sexually while growing up and the effect is still there. These student are powerless, hopeless, choiceless, debt bonded, intimidated, threatened, enslaved and they are victim.
  • Sexual Harassment: About 60% of both male and female are been sexually harassed by the Lecturer and the student. If such student don’t comply they are been placed under threat and sometimes been raped.

The club will be creating awareness on the above mentioned issues and it will require Talk shows, seminar and one on one counseling.  The club is more focus on HIV prevention.

Can you please write a concept paper to help source for fund. The programme will run for 1year and if possible can be extended.
