Dr. Soma Bhowmick is a PhD in Public Administration, a Law Graduate, a Trained Teacher, Teacher Educator and a trainer on social development issues. Additionally, she possesses considerable computer expertise and a strong background in areas of HIV/AIDS, Human Resource Management, Good Governance Issues, Behavioral Change Communication, Human Rights Education, Peace and Conflict Studies and Counseling in Trauma and Substance Abuse.
Besides teaching at various levels since 1993 she has been involved in project planning, project implementation, program coordination, training, evaluation, consultancies as well as research and documentation of collaborative projects funded Indian as well as International organizations.
