JL's video about Community to community transfer

Jean Louis Lamboray, Chair of the Constellation, was invited to speak to students of 'Community Health Interventions' at Vrije University, Amsterdam, in January, 2014.  He spoke about 'Transfer' as a strategy for spreading competence from community to community. Bobby Zachariah, Constellation Coach, recorded the video which you can find here

Dear Friends in the Transfer Team

I would like to invite you all to a meeting on TRANSFER next Wednesday, 30th May, 2012. The purpose is to re-ignite this group, appreciate the great examples of transfer occurring around the globe and discuss how to build on this for the future.

I will wait to hear from a few of you before I set a time. Please either reply with a comment, or email me directly at olivia.munoru@gmail.com.

Looking forward to a very energetic discussion. This will be the first of many more opportunities to come together and share our ideas.

See you then!!!

Olivia

Thank you. I tried to find a solution. May I invite you to please add your precious experiences with spreading local responses on this website: http://sites.google.com/site/constellationsuitcase/home and go to Transfer! Thank you all

Hi Gaston,

How about- Experience box on local responses

I am not sure on 'our'. We thought of the term local responses rather than CLCP to encourage sharing from other community based approaches. And use of  'our' might discourage newcomers to share as they may not identify with who 'our' is.

but then how do we refer to this in conversations and emails? It needs to be a catchy word or term. "For this question, please check out our ........." we can't really refer to check out our 'spreading local responses'. So, then I am back to the inspiration box again. That's what it's meant for actually...

How about Spreading Local Responses - our experience. I think the 'our' is crucial here as it is not some selected group of experts that put best practices out there (the easy way to do a 'toolbox' that then nobody looks at afterwards).

Thanks, Gaston

I'd go with "spreading Local Responses", just as it is, and lose the box.

Spreading Local Responses - Out of the Box

To honor creative solutions?

For me, the last one explains the best what it is... for people who don't know what it is!...

Dear friends, I soon want to launch a virtual 'box' of experiences with spreading local responses and the Community Life Competence Process. It will involve sections on 'transfering the approach to others', 'sharing the inspiration and results' and 'learning from the process and updating it accordingly'.

Now my question is: How will we name this 'box'? It will be the name of a separate website and discussion groups. I need your creative inputs here! Here are some initial ideas:

  • Spreading CLCP - inspiration box
  • Spreading local responses - experience box
  • The champion toolkit
  • Learning box on spreading local responses

What do you think? Please share your thoughts before the end of the week. Thanks.

Thanks Rafique. I'll soon 'revive' this group seriously and am working on a Knowledge Asset on Transfer. Am a bit loaded these days with so many opportunities, but watch this space! Regards
